Delete Your Account & Data
Overview
You can delete your BillDoc Keeper account and data inside the app or by emailing us if you no longer have the app installed.
When deletion is complete:
- Your Firebase login is removed (you cannot sign in until you register again).
- All BillDoc Keeper data on that device is removed: bills, documents, images, settings, and reminders.
Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open BillDoc Keeper and sign in.
- Open Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Optional: tap Export & delete to save a ZIP backup first.
- Confirm with your password (email account) or Google (Google sign-in account).
Deletion is permanent on that device.
What is not deleted automatically
- Files you already saved outside the app (Downloads, email, Google Drive, etc.).
- Data in Android device backup if you had phone backup turned on before deletion. Manage backup in your phone’s Google/account settings.
Delete by email (if you uninstalled the app)
Send an email to BillDocSupport@gmail.com:
- Subject
- BillDoc Keeper — Delete my account
- From
- The email address used for your BillDoc Keeper account
- Message
- “Please delete my BillDoc Keeper account and all associated authentication data.”
We may ask you to confirm identity. We will complete the request within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days, unless the law requires keeping certain information.
After deletion
- You may register again with the same email only if Firebase treats it as a new account.
- Old on-device data cannot be recovered unless you kept your own export backup.
